About Us

Part of the third wave, specialty coffee market, Caveman Coffee is hand picked, wet processed and small batch roasted by a master coffee roaster in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Founders and athletes Tait Fletcher, Keith Jardine and Lacie Mackey all bring something special to create a truly unconventional company.

In 2013 Tait, Keith and Lacie teamed up to create Caveman Coffee Co. Partnering with a specialty coffee roaster that owns it’s family farm and imports their beans from Colombia.

Each bean is grown under the UTZ certification and Rainforest alliance protocols for sustainability and natural growing practices. They are hand picked, only when ripe, and wet-processed for drying. This process produces the highest quality, dried beans for roasting. It preserves the natural flavors and nutrients while cleaning the beans from the fruit and preventing molding and bitterness. The Caveman team imports the beans and roasts them by a master roaster, to produce an unbelievably smooth coffee that is never burnt and maintains the best nutrients for the consumer. Caveman routinely tests it’s products for food safety to ensure the highest standards are continually met.

In addition to coffee beans, caveman offers and 100% coconut MCT oil (a refined coconut oil), Green tea, apparel and brewing products. In 2014 they launched a line of Cold Brew products that currently includes a 22 oz. Cold Brew Concentrate and an 8 oz nitrogen Cold Brew in a can. In addition the cold brew products are provided in larger gallon jugs and 15.5 gallon kegs to retail locations and restaurants.

Decaf?! What the H?

Sometimes, it's late in the day and you need a warm cup of coffee to relax. Sometimes, it's late in the day and you're pregnant. Sometimes, it's late in the day, and you hate living life dangerously. Sometimes, it's late in the day and you love the taste of coffee, but don't quite jive with the jump from the java. What you're about to read is going to make you jump for decaffeinated joy.

       Hmm...no ring. Amirite?

 We're launching decaf!

Comes with a matching Corvette! (you just can't see it. or drive it.)

Our Decaf Caveman Coffee is the same quality you have enjoyed from us, but with considerably less buzz (caffeine-buzz, not hype-buzz...because there will be plenty of that). Speaking of quality, our decaf beans are decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process, which is 100% synthetic chemical free, and removes 99.9% of the caffeine from coffee. Swiss Water is the gold standard of the decaf process. It's like the Cadillac of decaf. It is the Rolex of decaf. It is like the Le Creuset of decaf. It is like the G6 of decaf.

The Swiss Water Process (TM) starts with the green beans, and uses water to draw the caffeine out of unroasted coffee. It's kinda simple, but kinda sciencey at the same time. Check this out for the sciencey explanation, if you're into that sort of thing.

We're excited to share this new addition with you. But our excitement is mellow, reserved, calm and collected. Because we just drank a bunch of decaf.

Ready for Caveman, after dark? Here's where you can check out the tasting notes, and grab some. #redbag

YOUR ORDERS WILL CONTINUE TO BE RECEIVED ALL THE WAY UNTIL 6PM ON FRIDAY 12/19!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" And with that, he spun on his heels and vanished, presumably back to the Holiday Cave to process all y'all's orders. HOORAYYYYY!!! Santa could not be reached for comment.
